KIDS FIRST BASKETBALL PROGRAM

SKILLS, GAMES, MATES & FUN!

KIDS FIRST - WHAT IS IT?

Kids First is an eight to ten week program designed to introduce kids between the age of 5 and 12 to the sport of
basketball. It is intended to be conducted
 in a fun, non-pressured environment,
where the kids can learn the skills of
game at their own pace. The kids
are organized into groups of 10
with other kids of similar age and
ability. Each group has a coach
which are predominately
younger coaches from our junior
representative program. Finally the
program is exactly what it says, we
put the KIDS FIRST.

When to arrive

It's advantageous to arrive at least 15 minutes
early in the initial weeks so your child can be organized into their groups, any payments arranged or late enrollments taken. After that it's always good to arrive 5 to 10 minutes beforehand so they are ready to go when the sessions commences.

What to wear

The kids must wear lose fitting clothing, t-shirts, shorts, tracksuit pants, windcheaters etc, They also must wear non-marking sports shoes.

What to bring

Each child needs to bring their Kids First  basketball with their name marked on it.

What we will provide

Other than coaches each participant will receive a "Kids First Kit" when they first join which includes a T-Shirt, basketball, and carry bag.
